This book is an instant classic. Former top FBI investigator Chris Voss explains all the strategies, tactics, and psychology that allowed him to successfully negotiate for the lives of hundreds of hostages. This is a must read, no matter what you do for a living. He explains why the strategies developed for hostage negotiating are optimal for any negotiation situation. 4 Reasons Cryptocurrencies & Blockchain Technology Are Poised to Transform Real Estate

The best article I’ve read on the potential effects of blockchain in real estate. Doubt the crazy gains if you want, but I can’t argue with the technology being a (long term) game changer.

Graham Duncan wrote this with stock investors in mind, but I believe the progression through different “levels” is very real in a multitude of industries. I really enjoyed the model he presented for moving and progressing through the different “levels” of your chosen field.

Trump picks Jerome Powell to replace Janet Yellen

An interesting change-up at the Fed. We’re going from an ivory tower academic, to a man whose economic education came primarily through business experience. To me, the contrast is stark. My guess is that as he unwinds the Fed’s balance sheet, he will also deregulate the financial system. This could create an interesting combination.
